On Sunday April 15th I’m leading a volunteer project at the Bernard Horwich JCC (in West Rogers Park) in a community project for seniors. I’m asking for 20 friends and family to join Eli and me, as we help this amazing organization.
This project is just one of 30+ being held in the Chicago area, as part of International Good Deeds Day (http://www.good-deeds-day.org/about/). Good Deeds Day (GDD) has a simple premise—every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world. Last year, GDD encompassed more than 20,000 projects, in 93 countries, and involved 2.5 million people. I think that is so cool! Recently, I’ve become involved with TOV—a unit of the Jewish United Fund (https://www.juf.org/tov/) – that is sponsoring and coordinating all the GDD projects in the Chicago area.
Will you please join Eli and me on April 15th? Spouses, significant others, children 10+, as well your friends are all welcome to join us. Please register via the link below.
